It's a quick fly over to the Meteor Falls, and with enough speed, she would land herself nearby the entrance thanks to her Aerodactyl, Shale. The big winged fossil Pokemon roared, as she landed, licking towards her wings as she would cry, and Genny would ruffle the big dino with a few pets.[break][break]

Today was a bit of a venture. She'd done it a couple times back in Alola, but watching kids was an easy forte for the Ranger. In fact, she'd done so when she was barely older than those she looked after.[break][break]

There's a reason for it. Today, she was looking after Eris Halla on a little spelunking venture into the Meteor Falls. The little girl could easily handle herself. She was a teenager. A little never hurt. She did however, want to talk to her. She helped Isaac Merlo during their time on the ship when she couldn't. This was how Genny was going to make up for it![break][break]

As she returns Shale, she would reach into her pocket for her phone.[break][break]

She begins to tap on the ground. Just like with Momo Sakai... it was time to be the cooler big sister.

[attr="class","eris109"]No matter how many times she comes here, Meteor Falls remains as beautiful as ever. The musty smell of overgrown moss, the bubbling foam that prickles at her palms, the echoing drip drip drop of water off stalactites, the gentle shift of shadows as a quiet gold pierces through. All of it roots her to this place and time, her chest heavy with anticipation as she counts the seconds passing by.[break][break]

"Think she's here yet?"[break][break]

A grunt is her response, an additional weight rested upon her shoulders as his breath tickles her cheeks. Then a prod against her side, his tail poking as he ruffles through her pocket.[break][break]

"Oh, right. I should have texted, huh?"[break][break]

Then a beep, muffled by cloth but chipper as ever. When she pulls her phone out to check, she sees nothing but a location sent to Genny's phone with several pictures of her Woopers.[break][break]

"Uhh... Nice job, Koios."

Her phone buzzes, and the immediate response is... Wooper. Several Wooper. Genny's head tilts to the side, but upon a little observation, she smiles. "Oh, a location!" That would help her find Eris faster, and so, as she entered, she lets out her Fennekin, Akane. The little fox mounting atop Genny's shoulder, and helping light her way.[break][break]

But the breathtaking views of the Meteor Falls barely required that light. And Genny began her deep dive in.[break][break]

The walk is quiet, with a few pets given here or there. She can feel her other Pokeball rumbling, Beachboy wanting to come out again already. But Genny decides against it for the moment. Once they get there, maybe. Till then, she'd rather not lose him.[break][break]

She's done losing.[break][break]

It doesn't take too long to find a similar looking formation of rocks, as she looks about. "Eris?" She sees her there, a smile on her face. "You're doing well."[break][break]

Cool Big Sister mode activated.

The smile shared in tandem, the redhead waves cutely towards who was her little sister at this point. Well, as much as she could be without blood.[break][break]

Hearing that Eris got a good nap made Genny sigh longingly. "I miss naptime so much myself," she responds sheepishly, her shoulders sagging in a relaxed posture. "Not that I got much sleep though." Ranger work never ends, and training for a war never stops. Not a day.[break][break]

Beachboy's Pokeball bursts open, the Hisuian Sliggoo bursting out next to Genny and Eris both, as the dragon would bounce on their shell. Her and Akane respond in kind.[break][break]

"Shall we get moving? Looks like Beachboy is already ready to go."

"Well, we're not gonna do anything too big today. No dangerous fights, or well, dangerous things in general." A finger reaching out, she pokes at the ranger's side as if attempting to determine whether she's ticklish. "Just a fun hike."[break][break]

That's all it is to her, a few steps placing her paces in front of Genny. As she leads the way forward, she tugs on her backpack, swaying and stumbling into Reiner's side with a giggle. He, of course, rolls his eyes, shifting himself to bump his rump against her back in revenge.[break][break]

"I even brought snacks and stuff! So we can have a kinda sorta picnic when we find a good spot!"

No dangerous fights? That was a good thing at least! That meant Genny could relax her sh-... her shoul... her sh-"PFFTT AHAHAHA." she starts to laugh, a little ticklish. She tries to grab Eris' hand to stop her, but all she can do is laugh. Even as morally gray as Genny had gotten, she still was human. She laughed like one, and as she grabs herself, and cackles, she waves her hands out.[break][break]

"Stop, I'm ticklish!" she grins, as she follows behind Eris now as she pulls away, letting Eris lead forward. The whole time, Genny smiles.[break][break]

Snacks huh? The mention of them has her remember her picnic almost two years ago with her first boyfriend in Hoenn. During the whole Meteno situation, the picnic near Rustboro... it was a good time. It was near here, just south.[break][break]

The memories were... nice. It was so simple back then.[break][break]

"What kind?" Genny asks in a sweet voice, curious on the appetite of the young lady before her. Akane stares towards Eris sweetly, and Beachboy well... he walks next to Reiner. Rolls, more like.

The waggling fingers from Genny comes, as she attempts to tickle back towards Eris. But stops, at the mention of all of the treats.[break][break]

And Genny's stomach rumbles, as she hears the sandwiches. Ah, those sounded good. She hadn't had much at all! As she grabs towards her stomach, and quiets it, Akane and Beachboy turn to scold at her. Genny rubs the back of her head.[break][break]

Maybe... she should have eaten more?[break][break]

"Got it, a simple spread! Already sounds so good to eat!" She beams towards Eris, as she sees Reiner's embarrassment. And all the redhead can do is grin harder. So sweet, so cute.[break][break]

A friend? "Whose the friend?" She was so curious now.

With a quick click-clicking of the safety clips, she soon reveals the sandwiches within and offers it over to Genny. "It's pretty important to make sure you have enough so you won't suddenly be light-headed or tired."[break][break]

If she thinks for even a second that her grumbling stomach can go ignored, she is wrong.[break][break]

"They come and go as they please. You might see them, you might not."[break][break]

Whilst she can't dictate the whims of a certain little pixie, she can control Reiner's fate on whether or not he gets one of those sandwiches. Which he does, without the slightest hint of hesitation.

A friend that comes and goes as it pleases? Genevieve raises a brow. "Huh." She's making a quiet huff to that. Not out of disdain or anything like that. After all, she has no idea who the friend is. She can only hope she sees them after all. But seeing Reiner go for that tasty snack has her smile.[break][break]

"We'll be sure to get our stomachs filled then, while we handle this-" The sounds of rumbling hits the Meteor Falls to interrupt her, as they reach a large expansive clearing in the cave. A massive Steelix, moving through properly, roaring out as it slithers around them.[break][break]

Genny's eyes look their direction, taking a step ahead of Eris and Reiner, her big sister instincts kicking into overdrive, as she tosses back out Shale.[break][break]

"Bite down!" The Aerodactyl roars to life, she races towards the incoming Steelix, and lays in with a bite, chomping into the steel with force. It veers off-course of the girls

- As they continue, and Genny agrees, RUMBLING. A wild massive Steelix is swimming in the cave clearing.[break]
- With intent to take the Steelix on as it comes towards them, releases Shale for a BITE to make it swerve out of the way.

[attr="class","eris109"]Good. She will not let Genny starve on her watch. Nor will she let the appearance of a wild pokemon make her drop her food container out of surprise.[break][break]

Even whilst halfway through his sandwich, Reiner does not let the sudden intrusion pose danger to Eris. One step forward as his tail tugs her back, electricity crackles through his mane and forces the air to sizzle.[break][break]

Thankfully, Shale creates enough time for him to finish chewing his sandwich, the delectable snack swallowed down as he charges right towards the careening Steelix. With paws bunched together and haunches lowered to the ground, he gathers his momentum and pounces, claws scraping against chipped steel as he grips onto the serpent's body.
